My specialty is working with students—helping them to find their voice through their music. I teach the songs that they are listening to, the music they adore. Most of my students like to divide lesson time between working on singing, playing, and songwriting. My forte is teaching you to accompany yourself on the guitar. I help students set their own goals, and design a curriculum that can take them from beginning guitar to on-stage performance. I am here for you to show you the steps to achieve your dreams.

During our first lesson, I will ask you about your goals. Do you want to lead your friends and family in song around the next campfire, rock your next open mic, do you want to record your next EP, or learn how to tour? All of this is possible with a specialized approach to lessons.

I create your lesson plan to help you reach your guitar playing goals as fast as possible. You will have access to a dropbox folder where all of your music files, recordings and pdf’s are kept. So no more losing your homework. It is always available for you to access.

Thank you for opening Madi’s eyes to her own possibilities and empowering her with confidence in her ideas. In a short time, you have been one of the most important influences on her young life, and her mother and I feel so lucky to have found you.”
